NOTD: Burgundy Nails with a Glitter Gradient Accent

Products Used
essie:  Downtown Brown
Revlon:  Sparkling 261
Sallie Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear:  Black Out 24
China Glaze:  Fast Forward Top Coat

1)  Apply 3 coats of essie's Downtown Brown on each nail, except for your ring finger.  Apply 2 coats of Sallie Hansen's Black Out on that nail for your accent.
2)  Dab Revlon's Sparkling on your accent nail, starting from the base and then upwards until you've reached about three quarters of your nail--stagger your strokes.  Layer on more glitter at the base and lightly dab over your previous upward strokes.  You want the base of where the glitter starts to be denser than the rest of the nail for a cascading effect.  I did this about three times.  Remember to wait for each coat to dry before applying additional layers.
3)  Finish by applying China Glaze's Fast Forward Top Coat on all nails.

*You will want to dab the layers of glitter sparingly (tap off the excess liquid) to prevent chunky build ups of nail polish on the tips of your nails.  We're trying to keep everything even as possible for a more polished look.

I only painted on 2 coats of essie's Downtown Brown--that's why the color doesn't show up as completely solid under
direct sunlight.  Under indoor lighting, however, it's not noticeable.  2 is ok, but 3 is better.
