Review: Derma E, Glycolic Facial Cleanser

Drugstore
Price: $10-$12
Rating:  ☺☺☺☺☺!

I highly, highly recommend this product, especially for people who have sensitive or dry skin.  Because it's such a gentle exfoliant, it can be used everyday, which is probably more effective than using a scrub three times a week--not that I have a problem with scrubs, but I've found that many people tend to forget that

No matter how hard you try,
you cannot scrub your acne or acne scars off.

Rubbing too hard or exfoliating too much (for example, everyday) can dry out your skin and cause inflammation, exacerbating acne.

After using this product for over 3 months (I use it in the morning and in the evening), my skin has improved significantly.  The glycolic acid in the cleanser helps to shed dead/old skin cells, fade acne scars (slowly, but surely), and unclog pores, which can prevent acne and also enable your skin to be more receptive to applied moisturizer.  As a result, my  complexion has cleared and any prior flaky skin has been smoothed out.

Pros
+Naturally exfoliates with marine plant extracts
+Gentle: This doesn't dry out your skin at all
+Oil-free
+Fragrance-free
+pH balanced
+Organic
+Not tested on animals

Notes
.Remember to apply product onto dry skin and massage onto face.  Then rinse.  If your face is already wet before you apply, it'll dilute the cleanser, rendering it ineffective.
.Does not remove makeup.
