Review: Revlon ColorStay Whipped Crème Foundation, 'Nude'

Drugstore
Price: $12-$14
Rating: ☺☺☺☺

Pros
+BuildableYou can achieve light to full coverage depending on how much product you use.
+Appears matte upon application, but leaves a satin finish as the day goes on, giving a more natural appearance
+Long lasting; in addition, no touch ups are necessary throughout the day:  Usually, if you have foundation on for a long period of time, it leaves your skin looking and feeling tired and old, particularly if you used a lot of product--I've yet to run into this problem using this.
+Blendable
+Doesn't transfer

Cons
-Heavy, bulky packaging.  I like glass, but it's not practical for travel, especially if you like to pack light.
-If you have oily/combination skin, you will have to blot your face occasionally as this product isn't geared toward oil control.

Notes
.To prevent contamination, use a sanitized spatula or stick to scoop the product out instead of using your fingers.  If you choose to use your fingers, the bacteria build up in your makeup may cause your skin to break out, especially if you have sensitive/acne prone skin.  Make good choices!
.A little goes a long way--the foundation is very concentrated and the texture is thick and creamy.
.For even application, I recommend using a flat top brush to buff the product onto your face.  This will also minimize mess.

If all you want is to even out your skin tone, you really only need
to use this much product for light coverage.
